• Freshman pizza party, Tuesday 8/31 at 5pm, in the Hill-Case lobby
• Cru weekly meeting, Thursday 9/2 at 9pm, in the second floor of Atwood (Cru will be at 9pm for the rest of the semester.)

Greetings. Welcome back to St. Cloud State University. We in the 2010-2011 Cru leadership team are looking forward to seeing you at Campus Crusade for Christ. There is a lot in store for us, and we pray that God would be with you as we start this new school year. Here is a brief run-down of some of the upcoming events:

Those of you who are new to St. Cloud State, we extend a special welcome to you. We will be conducting surveys throughout campus, and we hope to see you around.

I know what you’re thinking:  So what is TCX?

There are a lot of ways to describe it, but anyone who has gone will most likely tell you the following things:

TCX is Connecting with People:

• Spend 4 days going deeper in your relationship with God, alongside almost 2000 students from dozens of college campuses all over the Midwest.

TCX is Life Changing:

• Powerful messages from nationally known speakers will challenge and equip you to live an intentional life that communicates God’s love to the world.

TCX is Serving:

• Take to the streets of Minneapolis for our “Day of Outreach.”  We coordinate with local churches to bring boxes of food to families in need around the Metro area.  Step out to help those in need and share Jesus’ love with them.

TCX is Worshipping:

• Worship alongside thousands of other college students, led by our amazing worship band.

TCX is fun:

• Get to know the people from your own campus
• Ring in the New Year with new friends
• Stay at the beautiful Minneapolis Hilton
• Experience the Big City
