Fall Getaway
What it’s about :: Join us for a BIG WEEKEND! Take a study break and join other students from St. Cloud State for a weekend that you won’t forget. You’ll enjoy speakers, praise and worship, team competitions, reflection time as well as some free time. Come, meet new people and connect with others you already know from campus. Available to us are: basketball, open field for football/ultimate Frisbee, foosball, ping pong, games, hiking trails, bonfires, and much more!
When :: Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, 2011
Cost :: The cost of the retreat is $75. For freshmen, this is reduced to $55 and for new transfer students, it is reduced to $65. This includes lodging and meals.
Registration is due by September 26. A $20 nonrefundable deposit is required at registration. You can register after CRU meetings at the Fall Getaway table or by visiting our registration webpage. Balance is due upon arrival. Checks are made payable to: “Campus Crusade for Christ.”
If money is preventing you from going, there are scholarships available. They come in different amounts, depending on your ability to pay. Please contact us for more information.
What to bring ::
- Bible, pen and notebook
- Pillow & sleeping bag (blankets, etc.)
- Towels
- Personal toiletries
- Tennis shoes
- Flashlight
- Alarm clock
- Clothing for warm and cold weather.
- Maybe a swim suit for the Polar Bear Plunge!?!
- Suggestions: camera, snacks, sports equipment, college shirt, etc…

The Alexandria kids are very disappointed, but this is homecoming weekend for them, so it is a bummer that you won’t have a huge turnout from here.
